Scope

This policy covers what happens when you visit profittracker.app or sign up to our launch waitlist. Once we have paying hotel customers, the data we process on their behalf is governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement available before signup.

What we collect when you visit

Our server logs your IP address, browser user-agent, the page you requested, and the referring URL. We keep these logs for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

We don't run analytics. We don't set tracking cookies. We don't share visitor data with third parties.

What we collect on waitlist signup

If you sign up to be notified when we launch, we collect your first name and email address. We store these with Brevo (our email provider, based in France) and use them only to send you launch updates and product news related to ProfitTracker.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing legal@profittracker.app. We will delete your details within 30 days of receiving your request.

Sub-processors

Hetzner Online GmbH. Hosting in Germany and Finland.
Brevo SAS. Email storage and delivery, in France.
Bunny.net d.o.o.. Static asset CDN, in Slovenia and the Netherlands.
Stripe Inc.. Payments only, not used on the marketing site. Stripe handles payment metadata under its own privacy policy.

Where data lives

All visitor and waitlist data is stored in the EU or UK. We chose our infrastructure providers specifically to keep data inside European jurisdictions. Stripe (US) handles payment metadata only and is never used on the marketing site.

Cookies

We don't set any cookies on the marketing site. Once you have an account and log in, a session cookie is set so the site knows you're logged in. That's it.

The tracking snippet that ProfitTracker installs on customer hotel websites is a separate matter, covered by the Data Processing Agreement signed with each hotel customer.

Your rights under GDPR

If you're in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the data we hold about you. You can also object to or restrict how we use it.

To exercise any of these rights, email legal@profittracker.app. We'll respond within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll email everyone on the waitlist before the changes take effect. Minor updates are posted here with a new date stamp at the top.
